Important! NewHub uses OAuth M2M Impersonation.
If you sign up to NewHub with john.doe@company.com and you do not have an user john.doe@company.com within your Qlik Cloud tenant, you'll not see any apps or spaces.
To integrate Qlik Cloud into your NewHub workspace, you must use OAuth.
Navigate to the OAuth section of your Qlik Cloud administration area.
Create the OAuth configuration for NewHub Cloud
Choose Web
Add a name for your OAuth configuration (ex: NewHub Cloud)
Check the following scopes: user_default, admin_classic, identity.subject:read
On the 'Add allowed origins' field, add https://app.newhub.com
Mark the Allow Machine-To-Machine (M2M) checkbox;
Mark the Allow M2M user impersonation checkbox
Click on Create
A popup will appear with your Client ID and Client Secret. You must copy these since you will need it later.
You must change the Consent Method for the OAuth configuration to trusted.
The whole process can be seen in the GIF below.
Now that you have your Client ID and Secret, head to https://app.newhub.com to finish your configuration
Add your Qlik Cloud hostname
Add your Client ID
Add your Client Secret
Ps. If you lost your Client Secret, you can generate a new one within your OAuth configuration, on Qlik Cloud.
Click Connect and save
You should see a success message if all steps were correctly followed.
Click on the back arrow at the top left corner of the page to go back to the Home Page.
You should see all Qlik Cloud spaces and apps available to your user.
