Is it safe to register my OAuth credentials?
At NewHub Cloud, we prioritize the security and confidentiality of our clients' data, understanding the immense importance of trust when handling sensitive information. To ensure maximum protection, we have implemented robust security measures tailored for our environment.
Data Handling and Storage
We do not store any data related to data analysis. This means that the information within your charts, tables, and key performance indicators (KPIs) is never stored in our databases. Instead, all the information you view is fetched directly from your Qlik Cloud tenant in real-time. We ensure that no analytical data is ever stored in our environments.
OAuth and Secure Access
To further safeguard our platform, we have implemented OAuth 2.0 for secure access management. This ensures that all data requests and interactions are authenticated and authorized, limiting access strictly to authorized users and actions within our environment. The OAuth configuration is specifically designed to function solely within our protected environment, ensuring that access tokens, authentication flows, and data requests are all securely managed according to industry standards.
Tracking Usage and Performance
We maintain certain non-sensitive information in our databases for usage tracking and performance monitoring purposes. This includes storing the hostname of your tenant and the email address you use to access our platform. This minimal information helps us monitor user activity and gather valuable insights into platform performance, ensuring we deliver optimal value to our clients while maintaining a secure environment.
By leveraging OAuth and carefully controlling the scope of our data interactions, we are committed to providing a secure, high-performance environment for all your data-driven needs.
